dreambox gallery + studio is an art venue based in Chicago since 2003.
Iwona Biedermann, founder of dreambox gallery + studio, put down her roots on North Ave, west of Western, and under one roof opened an independent, artist-run gallery and photography studio, with a garden open during the summer.
From the start, dreambox gallery has been dedicated to bringing people together to showcase and celebrate the creativity of Chicago artists, creativity that animates a neighborhood and inspires a connection – a dialogue between artists in their community and beyond. As a participant of Chicago Artist Month (2007-2015) and with strong ties to the Polish community, the gallery contributes to the vitality of multicultural conversation through exhibition, poetry and music.
The mission is to create, inspire, and be inspired by cultural link between artists and their creative currency: WORD | IMAGE | IDEA.
Since 2014, dreambox gallery + studio has shared a space with Cup & Spoon coffee house, a great addition to our growing community. You can find dreambox behind Cup & Spoon, in the heart of the West of Western community, just 2 blocks from the Bloomingdale (606) Trail.
The gallery is free and open to the public on Friday and Saturday from 12-4pm.
